Information security & privacy

Protecting information is part of protecting people and operations.

ASQS’s information-governance framework is designed around appropriate access, responsible collection, secure handling, retention discipline, incident escalation, and clear accountability.

ASQS enterprise perspective

Information should be collected and used with purpose.

Workforce, payroll, HR, property, healthcare-support, vendor, client, and business-administration services may involve sensitive information. ASQS seeks to limit collection to what is reasonably needed and to separate public, internal, confidential, and restricted information.

Security controls depend on the information, system, service scope, legal requirements, client instructions, and vendor environment. No public page should be interpreted as claiming a certification or control that has not been independently confirmed.

Framework

Information-governance priorities

Technology, people, contracts, and operating procedures must work together.

01

Data minimization

Collect only information appropriate to the purpose and avoid requesting highly sensitive data through general website forms.

02

Access and accountability

Provide access based on role and need, protect credentials, and maintain responsibility for authorized use.

03

Vendor and system review

Consider security, privacy, data location, retention, incident response, and contractual responsibility when selecting tools and partners.

04

Incident readiness

Establish reporting, containment, investigation, communication, recovery, and corrective-action responsibilities.

Operating model

Responsible information lifecycle

Protection should extend from collection through final disposition.

  1. 01

    Collect

Define purpose, notice, consent where appropriate, required fields, and secure intake method.

  2. 02

    Use and share

Limit use and disclosure to authorized business, employment, service, legal, or safety purposes.

  3. 03

    Retain and protect

Apply appropriate access, storage, backup, monitoring, and retention practices.

  4. 04

    Dispose and improve

Delete or archive information responsibly and use incidents or audits to strengthen controls.

Commitments

Website and operating safeguards

  • No Social Security numbers or banking data through initial website forms
  • Restricted access to submitted résumés and requests
  • Documented privacy and retention expectations
  • Prompt escalation of suspected unauthorized access
